With great knowledge comes great responsibility ... keep your arrogance in check. You can be the world-leading expert on BB, but if you're condescending when communicating this knowledge .... well nobody's going to listen to you.
And the 'same thing over and over ...' thing, well, that's not my bike or LBS, since I've only had one BB failure with 10 bikes they service for me over 15 years. But I'm responding to you repeatedly (like this post right here) expecting we can have a respectful dialog. Yep, I'm clearly insane. I've had more respectful dialog with the neighborhood tweaker.
I'd like to say it's been fun, but that'd be a lie.
