Looks like I shoulda ordered 1/2 x 11/128" kmc x9.99 instead of going by original bike specs chain size especially since I knew specs for bike on bike pedia were not a hundred percent correct for bike.

I know I read it was 7,8,9 compatible (18/21/24) on packaging, friggin aggravating, was depending on 18 tooth cassette for 100k on Saturday.

Amazon says that chain (x9.99) is ordered with that cassette, shoulda trusted their marketing instead.
