Not that I can match what you guys have done by a long shot, but after spending about $50 total, I've taken the old Bay Pointe from this:

Dull paint, rusty chain, rotten tires, rusty rims, slightly stubborn Shimano 3S hub and butt-punishing Persons saddle ...

to this:

I gave it a good cleaning of both paint and chrome, really worked with the chain to get it freed up and rolling smoothly (it worked), put new tires and tubes on it (Michelin World Tour ... my #1 choice, love 'em) and gave everything a thorough lubrication. It's nothing fancy, but I enjoy it!
