Brown or black?

I finally replaced the way too short stem and can get my Lotus going again. I did learn that this bike was almost too nice to commute with, and still favor my war beaten Mercian. In that light, I am replacing the modern brakes with something more are appropriate.

I have diacompe levers with brown hoods and quick release, or gran compe with black hoods.

So, brown or black?

I'm not sure what bar tape color yet, probably fizik microtex though.
