If your friend doesn't want it, and you don't want it, I'm not so sure either of you really believes it would be ethical to sell it to someone else for $150. His 100% feedback might also suffer. The original purchase price and condition are what they are, but that's water under the bridge. He should let it go for whatever he is offered and move on, rather than looking for a nice stranger to bail him out of his buying mistake. Live and learn.
