I need GB bars in 42-44cm and can’t find them. I do have some 39cm so I am thinking about cutting the bar on each side, just past the engraved part and welding in a stepped, hollow extension. I have the ability to do the machining and welding and can’t really think of a structural reason this would not work. Any comments? Any 42cm GB bars?
