I don't usually get up in arms about the terms used to refer to women, but the female commentator doing the color announcing for "La Course" is really chapping my ass by calling the cyclists "the girls". If Carlton Kirby did that the feminists would tear him a new one. And don't give me the whole "It's okay cuz she's a woman, too" because really its not. These are professional athletes who train hard and they deserve to be treated with respect by announcers of both genders but I'd especially like to see it from another female.
