Not trying to be cantankerous, but I have to say the moldable shoe strikes me as way over the top. I go try on and buy a pair of shoes. If it feels good off the bike, it feels good on the bike. Now even if you think you need to mold your shoes because they are not perfectly to your liking from the store, why do you have to keep redoing it after riding with them? Not necessarily so. My current shoes felt fantastic off the bike walking around on carpet. When clipped into a pair of Keos, though, I found that I was suffering a lot of pressure on the outside of the sole of my foot and my knees were aching. A couple of cleat shims fixed the problem and I've been riding them free of discomfort for 3 months now, but it did teach me that walking in shoes and biking in them are very different things.
