Hi everyone,

I have an old French racer, probably late 70s to early 80s and it has tubular tyres. I have had 2 punctures in the past 3 months and it is becoming expensive replacing the tyre everytime.

I'm thinking of putting clincher tyres on now but someone told me I cannot use the same wheels.

Can anyone advise if the wheels are different for tubular tyres and that it is true that I will need to buy new wheels?
