My wife currently has a fairly old Giant OCR Zero, and she was complaining that it was a bit of the heavy side. I'd like to encourage her to ride more, so I'm considering upgrading her to a lighter frame.

I saw on eBay that there seems to be quite a few of the "Giant TCR Composite" frames selling cheaply from a seller called gobike168:

I know there were a few discussions about this previously, but did anybody ever work out definitively if these were genuine or not?

I believe people were saying the TCR Composite's were much lower-end than the TCR Advanced's anyway, so the price wasn't that off. However, the colour schemes didn't match?

I'm basically tossing up between buying this, and putting together a bike for her, versus buying a whole bike second-hand.
