Update: John Neugent got back to me within hours on a Sunday about replacing the rim. For less money than it would be to replace the rim with a Kinlin, he is willing to swap the back rim for me. He will be using one of his newer style rims with the internal washers to prevent cracking while reusing both the hub and spokes. I'm going to go that route. I've read a good deal about his customer service, but I wasn't sure where to go or what to expect since Neuvation as a brand was no longer around.
