Please forgive my ignorance, but just what are the "rules of the road" when bicyclists meet roller-bladers, particularly on bike paths?
In a recent non-incident, I went left sticking to the "bike" lane, expecting the roller-blader to drop to the "pedestrian" lane, while he went to his right, no doubt expecting me to go to my right (his left) also. We both ran off the path (my left, his right), muttered embarrassed apologies, and continued on.
No blood, no foul, I guess -- but I'm very glad we didn't collide.
