Asa Wright nature center in Trinidad is ideal for hummers for a number of reasons.
All the many varieties of Trinidad do not show up at the feeders,
but enough of them that you will be pretty impressed. I was, anyway.
Tobago has some areas over on the jungle side where you can just hike
out into the forest and find them by looking at what's in flower.
There's an excellent bird guide specific to these islands, and an even more
specific guide to the orchids. The place has had a lot of natural history documented
dating back to when it was a British colonial possession.
