I bought an old Schwinn off of craigslist, probably/possibly a shwinn continental (see here for discussion on what it might be http://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...y-id-help.html ). I bought a new set of wheels to put on it, and when I tried to put the front wheel on, I discovered that the axle was to wide for the slot in the axle. When I examine the old wheels in detail, I found that the front axle is narrower than the rear. Has anyone ran into this problem before. Can I use my dremmel to widen the slot for the axle? I will post a picture in the evening when I get home. Thanks for the help.
