EL-OS is one of the Columbus Nivacrom alloy tubesets which followed the Cyclex alloy tubesets like SL, SP, SLX, SPX, TSX, etc., but it wasn't air-hardening so wouldn't be included in my definition of new steels.
I'm gonna agree 100% with you.
Rode a guy's Pegoretti Marcello today for a few miles and it was a much lighter feel than my lugged EL-OS.
Himespau - maybe you need to update the fleet - or maybe not.
