+1. What an arrogant ass. It's a MUP, dude - people are supposed to be recreating there. If you come around a corner and don't have enough time to react to an obstacle in your way, you're going too fast for the course and your abilities. Who takes pride in scattering meandering peds with their bell, anyway? Take your bike on the road like the grown-up you're supposed to be, learn some respect and humility as you share the pavement with autos - hopefully that'll translate in to some courtesy for peds on the occasions that you find yourself on MUPs in the future.
