Elliptical Trainer Discovery
I haven't been on an elliptical trainer in years. Once I discovered the joys of cycling it went out of my thought pattern. But, when I strained the posterior ligaments and tendons on one leg and foot and couldn't ride I was desperate for something cardio and sweaty. Enter the elliptical trainer.
I've had a few sessions now and can feel my feet and ankles getting stronger. I am more stable because of that.
At the same time, depending on just how a person strides, cycling motion can be approximated.
Us older folks sometimes need something that is totally controllable and can help us grow at our own pace. At this point I think I may have found it for me.
