Lets just say my MIL isn't healthy or athletic.

Pretty much the same here, though neither lives particularly close. Both have been here this week. One is active and plays with my daughter while the other mainly talks over her except when it comes time to do crafts, encourage her to sit still, or cram sweet baked goods down her. Trying to tell myself that short visits can't ruin all the good habits we're trying (and almost succeeding) to instill. She didn't used to be a picky eater, but is becoming more so especially after having switched to a new day care (picky classmates rubbing off?) and this sure isn't helping.
