Thanks for all of the help. This at least gives me some direction. I think part of the problem may also be due to some misinformation from my LBS. They clearly don't have an understanding of what "should" have come on the bike in the first place.

Gomango - There were pictures, and there were phone conversations. Based on the outcome of both I was led to believe certain things about the bike. You're conclusion of "you bought the bicycle after looking at those pictures and the seller's description" was premature, and arguably irrelevant to the topic at hand. Everything else you added was helpful.

I'm going to pic the bike up shortly and I'll post some pics. I'm excited.
