the reason ghe romin comes in so wide varieties is that since it's in no way flat saddle and actually has pretty steep drop down at the sides it also has much less real estate for the sitbones than a flat saddle of the same width. Fizik arione and antares are saddles where whole of the width is useable due to their flatness. The fizik antares at 142mm width is hence "wider" than a romin at 143mm
