Did you try any of the solutions mentioned in the thread? Have you adjusted your calipers, checked that your rotors are straight, and made sure your pads are up to snuff? My disc brakes don't rub, so long as I adjust them correctly. If you've tried everything and are still having trouble, perhaps you should let a bike mechanic have a turn. It may be cheaper than buying new v-brakes.
