Couldn't agree more, both my bully and my silvertip have nearly 4" (90mm) longer wheel bases than either the soma or the nano . Actually the bully is closer to what you are asking for: longer wheelbase at 1028mm, clearance for 451 or 406 wheels, disc brakes to accomidate 451s or 406 equally and easily interchangeable, and a chrome moly frame (I assume).
