Bikes: everywhere

I made it about 3 miles before my wife called and said she was done. Doh!

So, today I planned to just hit Wisconsin hwy 35 and nail all the short steep hills off the highway and rack up the feet of climbing. I was only planning to go out about 15 miles and then head back, but shortly before the category 4 climb on 35 I ran into a guy on a TT bike and we got to chatting and I ended up riding with them all the way to Red Wing (about 15 miles past my turn around point). There we split ways.

The American Queen was docked in Red Wing so I went down to take some pictures and ran into a guy riding a really cool 1987 Paramount with full campy that the C&V crowd would be drooling over. Then I found some lunch and headed back home.

Here are some pictures!

The top of a nasty little climb. Strava says it was .3 miles at 11%.
Yes, that road does seem to drop off a bit from there

Barge pic is my favorite.

Only a couple C&V guys would care about the Paramount. Many would go "Japanese Paramount, meh. Give me Waterford Paramount or give me death!"
