In my defense, I have only ever lived in states with oceans attached. I'm excellent at coastal anatomy, even second-state-from-a-coast I can locate reliably. But I'm very fuzzy on the details of the interior. I was very surprised once when I was offered a job in Colorado, did you all know Kansas is right next to Colorado?! Shocking.
