Funnily enough probably a simpler task - the parts are no harder to find and it is more straightforward to determine what was period correct in 1971 than 1972 IMO. 1972 turned out to be a big year for changes in components by Campy and Cinelli some of which made it out of the factory that year and some which appeared in catalogues and started manufacture but didn't appear in shops until '73 - I spent a lot of my time just trying to confirm what version of component I was meant to be looking for. This was actually also the enjoyable and rewarding aspect. I probably ended swapping out a third of all components at some point when I discovered I had the wrong version. Have a nice box of left over '71 (and '73) parts right here next to me

As I learn more there may be one or more to go yet.
