This was a contract year for him at Garmin, and he barely got his current 1 year contract- very late in the year last year with some results to make it happen.
I don't anticipate him getting another ride at the WT level, the new sprinters are better than him- and even among his generation of sprinters he didn't win much.
He'll do fine around here for a few years if he wants to- we might get to see him at Seward/Mason Lake for a while
