Seriously if i can get me a damn job im gona save up for a calfee bamboo.It will have damn near absolute best parts on it. Not because im a racer or any sort of pro rider but just because i want something unique. It wouldnt matter if it was 800 bucks for the complete bikes id still want it. Now thats my dream bike. Ill setle for less if need be say a synapse alloy or carbon or even one of the rRx00s.
Corse id say im a fairly strong rider for the most part. Hills tend to take it out of me. But ive managed to hit 180s cadence in lower gears (never have counted my cog teeth on the old free wheel) 52 and what ever my first and secound cog is on rear. My cadence was fairly smooth at 180s and i had a 5 ride avarage of 83.2 and my last 2 rides have been 85 and 93.
My seasonal goal (if i get some more rides in and this season isnt over already) is to have a total ride avarage of 85 to 90 and last few rides of 95+. Achieveable if i get say 10 more rides in i think. Its getting easyer and easyer to hold 90 to 100+ every ride out.
So i think i could get the most out of a high end bike even if i dont race.
