The original stem is a Nitto Young, 80mm. I've just found these, which look like they'd be perfect for what I'm after, other than the fact that it would mean replacing the stem as well...but at least I could get a quill stem!

I'm certainly in no great need to sell my stem, but one thing I like about using a shorter-than-average stem with regular handlebars is the wider variation of available positions. When in the drops, I can really stretch out, but when I switch back to the tops, I'm fairly upright. Just something to think about.
