personally I ride a mtb, so I have a naturally harder time at the job. at 15mph, I am using about 160 watts and @ 60rpm is something like 18 lb/ft torque (strength). best way to get better strength on the bike is to push the higher gears at lower rpm and push the leg muscles rather then just spinning up the lower gears.
