It's interesting that the roadbike feels so much faster on (down)hills but it really isn't. Either that or my spedometer's aren't accurate
I sorta felt that way too and yet my top speed has also been on my hybrid. Still, the numbers didn't lie.. unless the roadie's cyclocomputer wasn't calibrated. I didn't check it before riding. I did record the numbers so I can compare to my hybrid next time I ride that route.
The bike on the wall is my wife's Trek 7100. She was quite lukewarm about the bike thing.. but now she is enjoying riding nearly as much as me. I told her she is probably gonna want to change from those grip shifters at some point. Heheheh. Maybe I can get her interested in a roadie too!
