Atlanta almost identical with NY in annual precipitation and days of precipitation - more rain than Portland, but occurring less frequently.

With sealed BB and hubs I've had no issues, certainly no squeaks and creaks. I keep everything greased though, and prior to installing sealed bearings I was constantly re-greasing the hubs and bottom bracket, especially if I rode through a puddle higher than the hubs.
