My neighborhood's streets are terribly broken up. The stupid land developer built them as cheaply as they could, with thin concrete with a ridiculously narrow wire mesh inside.

And the local government doesn't care - they are just repaving the highway outside the neighborhood, but it takes YEARS of people getting together and pestering city hall for them to consider maintaining residential streets.
