However, the diagram actually results with the plastic buckle being on the wrong side (hidden by the strap).
I actually just noticed this as well,
I fixed it by fiddling with it a couple more times, but I'm not sure that i did anything different. perhaps the strap was flipped over or something. Anyway that's the basic idea, good luck
