I am now the proud papa of a 2001 bouncing baby Ventana ECDM frame. Sort of an impulse buy...Wanted a MTB tandem, but was working towards a new road ride, put on the back burner for now.


So, looking for some opinions, so far the idea is
* Mittleburn tandem or DaVinci [perhaps] crankset and rings
* Magura MT2 or MT4 hydraulic discs and 200 (203)mm rotors
* Huge MAYBE on XTR DI2 whenever it is a little more tried and trued (already scoping out battery mount and cable routing options like a huge dork)

No idea on rim and wheel choices...Suggestions? I'm thinking MI6 hubs, maybe Sapim 13/14g spokes, and no idea on the rims yet.

No idea on forks yet, really need to give MTB Tandems a call, but their website didn't list any. Any opinions from other MTB tandemers?

Haven't even started looking at stems, bars, or posts (those are the minor details).

Interested in hearing about ECDMers and their component choices.

It will be a slow build as parts-wise I'm starting from scratch, and if the blind guy posts a photo of himself or the ground or the garage door...Forgive him please
