Bikes: Burley Duet [of some unknown year] (the guinea pig); 2001 Ventana ECDM (the project); And always one less than I think I really need.

Yeah, the 50g savings was tongue in cheek... a whopping 0.025% of the expected on trail weight. The CK hubs are definitely on my preferred list; I'm still looking over rims and hadn't considered the WTBs yet, still scrolling the forums; Thompson posts were a given (price/weight/reputation are hard to beat); While I personally liked twist/grip shift when I was sighted on singles, I don't know any potential pilots who use them (have to make it a desireable ride to attract pilots)...I do have an extra K-Edge 6770, just install a mechanical FD and throw the connected DI2 FD in my tool bag (kidding).

Here's a dumb question... what stoker bars are MTB tandemers using? When I singled I spent most of my time on the bar extensions, so perhaps bullhorns?

Like I said, this is a long-term build, so all this will change a dozen times (or more).

Thanks all, back to the online catalogs...
