ok i am looking to finally replace my stolen fixie, i have got about 1,000 to spend but i would like to keep it under that if i can. i live in florida. so it is flat and boring lol. but i need the best fixed gear for the money. i am 6.2 so i need a bigger frame (56) ish and i would like to git a complete set up i just don't have the money to go from the ground up. now to the imported things what i plan to do with the thing. i need it light because i carry it in to places on my back and i love to go fast so a stiff frame helps. i would only ride about 50 miles max i have a road bike for the 100 miles and up. it needs to be fixed gear i don't need this flip flop stuff. and a front brake would be nice if anything it needs to be drilled for one so i can add it. and i would love a 52 tooth chainring on the crack because i have a lot of power in my legs. but that is not important. i would like to use it to go to work and it will always be indoors if i am not in it. its for getting around town and racing my friends. it does not have to be comfy but it needs to be fast. i know a true track bike is too stiff to ride on the road and there can be overlap with the crank arms and the front tire so idk what to get. thx so much for you help if you need to know more let me know and thx once more.
