First, remove the plastics cap, 2nd, the crank bold, then use the crank extractor.
Just make sure that you thread the crank extractor ALL THE WAY IN. If you don't thread it all the way in, you can strip out the crank arm threads. Then instead of being threaded, you'll be screwed.
