Belmont Lake State Park is my local hangout park. The upper half around Belmont Lake is a mix of paved and cinder trails. The lower half, south of the Southern State Parkway and towards Southards Pond is either cinder or hard dirt. This lower half is mainly a bridle path so you do have to sometimes watch out for horse poo. The whole trail is easily rideable on a hybrid or comfort bike.

It's a nice short flat trail. Especially the lower part as it often quiet and empty. Plus you're surrounded by trees. I sometimes go there after work for a quickie ride.

I often start at the parking lot, go all the way down south, loop around Argyle Lake, and head back up to the parking lot.
