That said, we have been using a ENVE tapered 1 1/8" - 1 1/2" fork on our road tandem for almost 2 years with no problems. It is a very stiff fork and seems to have fairly beefy carbon dropouts. My sole complaint is that it only comes in the 43mm rake spec, and I would prefer more options such as a +46mm rake. The 2.0 fork (straight 1 1/8") has many more rake options, but not the tapered version - only 1.
The website does say that they make the wheels in Ogden ID, which is odd because they use to say up until last year they made everything here. So in light of that news I sent a e-mail letter to them and asked if they have products made in Asia and which ones. So it'll be interesting to see just how good their customer service is by how fast or if they respond at all. If they respond I will post the letter here.
