Bikes: Current favorites: 1988 Peugeot Birraritz, 1984 Gitane Super Corsa, 1980s DeRosa, 1981 Bianchi Campione Del Mondo, 1992 Paramount OS, 1988 Colnago Technos, 1985 RalieghUSA SBDU Team Pro

My 1st bike was a circa 1950 Rollfast gas pipe bike with Bendix hub brake and 24" wheels. Next was a 1952 or 53 Shelby Flyer "3 speed English racer" 26" wheels and Sturmey Archer hub.

I bought this Bridgestone randonneur style bike when I was stationed in Japan in 1964-65. (Portrait of the artist as a young man)

The oldest bike that I currently have is a 1965 Swiss made Tigra.

Next is an all original 1967 Peugeot PX-10. It was a true "barn bike". This is what it looked like after I cleaned off 30 years of dust with a vacuum cleaner.

Next oldest is a late 60s Bertin C-37.

Last of my bikes from the 60s, my 1969 Gitane Tour de France. Another barn bike find.
