If you're just thinking about puncture resistance and general durability, both the Pro and regular models share the "double shielding" puncture resistant belts, and speaking from my experience, it works very well against the hard, sharp stuff on the street, so should do the same on the trail. I can't speak to sidewall cut resistance necessarily, because I just don't run through debris that coarse, but tread durability is awfully high.
thanx for reply...when i say light trail I mean dirt road, trail etc ! nothing like a rugged trail more like unpaved path!
