Six jours provides very good information about geometry. The one thing I DO notice about different bikes is wheelbase length. Six jours mentions this with his discussion about rake but there might be more to that. I prefer a longer wheelbase and that may be how my geometry fits the bike. When I look at bikes on the internet, they almost always have a link to the bike's geometry - which is kinda funny since there is very little difference between different bikes and who would know how to evaluate the geometry in the first place.
