My first mountain bike was a 1990ish Mongoose IBOC Comp. MountainLX components and Biopace rings. It was actually a fantastic bike, just way too big for me at the time(12 years old riding a 19" frame). It introduced me to the sport of mountain biking after I convinced my dad to let me use it. It has since seen upgrades to V-brakes, Rockshox Indy fork, and STX rapid fire shifters. The poor thing has seen too much abuse and is pretty close to retired at this point, but is set up for commuter duty. Forgive the ridiculous picture, its the only one on my computer.
