The only accident I ever got in while driving a truck was with a young girl in an SUV that ran a stop sign and hit me. At a T intersection where she was the only one with a stop sign. She's lucky she didn't get killed-- I was doing 50-55 and she blazed through the stop sign at about 20 and hit just at the fuel tank. After I got stopped and ran back to see whether or not she was dead (she was unhurt amazingly, the SUV was destroyed), she told me, and I quote, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you." I was driving a bright yellow, 11 foot high semi-truck, with white trailers full of bright red tomatoes, and I had my lights on, and it was 1:00 pm on a sunny cloud free day, there were no obstructions what-so-ever that would have been in her line of sight, and she didn't see me. So I have to agree-- wish they'd get rid of the SUV driving idiots. Good thing I wasn't on a bike.
