I was shaken up a little, and hope she was too. Today, I had TWO flashing tail lights and rode on the sidewalk for the short stretch of road where the incident occurred. Not sure what to do now. I really thought that road was wide enough for cars and bikes - never had any problems before yesterday. I think I will just put it out of my mind and do my thing. If I stopped riding because of what might happen, I would never ride a bike, drive a car, ride the bus, or fly in an airplane. Stay positive is my motto. Aside from that, nice day today - quite warm. Sun is a bit of a problem in a few places, though.
Were you riding the far right edge of the lane? If so that's why you were buzzed and she didn't see you. Motorists simply do not pay attention to things along the sides of the road.
