If it's already been resprayed then no qualms about originality. That ship has sailed. I would rejoice at my good fortune and use the opportunity to repaint it in 7-11 livery.
though the $400 would go a long way to having just the down tube color matched and repainted. A good painter could do it inconspicuously.
