connectors somewhere along the wiring, so that end is easy. As for the mounts, depending on the type, some sort of quick and easy to remove hardware can be improvised, like maybe a simple wingnut. Often being a mechanic isn't about simply buying and installing something ready made, but working with what you have and improvising modifications that fit your needs.
Yes, that seems like the best option. I'm just curious if there are any headlights with with a ready made connector/removable mount.
