Gawd! Just walk down a canal and you'll see hundreds of bikes locked to the railings- I swear, there must be something like 5 bikes for every person in Amsterdam. It's a trip through C&V wonderland without setting foot in a shop. I'm sure people have lost their bike merely by forgetting which block they left it.

And used by everyone. Most are utilitarian but fun to look at just the same :-)
