This is interesting, what an amazing variance among people.
My SO and riding partner sweats a lot of salt. Me hardly any most times. One BP med (been doing musical chairs with those things) and my sweat was extremely (burn your eyes) salty... She also feels weird (nauseous, and weak) on long hot rides and craves salt, after some salty food, she returns to normal rapidly.
To help with BP, I've started attending to both sodium (lower) and potassium (higher) intakes... Seems like the more potassium in diet the more salt I sweat...
Do any of you notice any differences in salt needs based upon personal factors?
