I've been conversing with a LOT of single women lately. And a great majority have told me that they are frustrated with guys. Because the guys don't have any inspiration. The woman I'm going on a second date with on Friday (and speak with daily since we met) told me that I was attractive to her because "You had a plan". I decided what to do, and asked her to go. She said that she gets a lot of "lets go out and do something". IMO it is a confidence thing. And truly, if the confidence isn't there, fake it until you make it.

We all are unique individuals. And the key is to make that individual nature shine. What works for me wouldn't work for Brian, since we are very different people. But somehow he needs to let this woman see him for who he really is, not only the internet persona that he has fabricated.

And this is not a slam on him. We all create a persona that we present to the world online. It rarely is the entire person, or even comes close to the depth that we have in our personalities. We also tend to gloss over the warts and scars that make us who we are.

(Just like Velo Vol commenting yesterday to LAJ that "you don't seem like a beer drinker/gambler"). Because that is a past behavior that he glosses over. Despite being an integral part of him.
